Many London public transport in London users were dismayed by the passing of Routemaster buses; the older open buses that had bus conductors to talk to, help you get on and off, give you change; the open door.

Travel by bus is not only an environmentally friendly, physical journey through space, but can also be a psychic space; a time to observe, think, write, to just be, an inspirational space.

This installation is comprised of "bus blinds" - the fabric that is rolled up in the top front window of the bus saying where it is going.

By playing with the place names, the artist invites you to travel to other destinations.
